You may have heard of BET’s Rip the Runway, a popular annual showcase of music and fashion featured on Black Entertainment Television. Now get ready to experience #PurplePinking Glam Show, the Christian Version of “Rip the Runway” presented by PurplePink Productions, a faith-based promotions company dedicated to providing alternative Christian and positive events outside of a church service.
This first annual event coined #KingdomSelfie is a one-night music/fashion showcase featuring a cross-section of local designers, media and Christian artists and will feature a modern twist of the new fashion and music that is the 21st Century Christian Lifestyle.
On Saturday April 18, the #PurplePinking Glam Show will not only serve as a platform for local designers and artist but also a networking hour starting at 6pm followed by a 2 hour fashion and music showcase starting at 7pm.
A full night of positivity, fashion, music fit for the entire family. Hosted by yours truly, #LaLaPurplePink with special co-hosts from the Divinity Choice Show, Chossen, Trinity and Ant. Music performances by Shakara Monique, Red Dott, Russ Shanks, Out of the Box Ministries, SheFlows, DJ MLik and many more. The best of the DMV's fashion designers and stylist to include Triumphant by Christian Hixson, SSK Fashions, Syeko Design House and many more. We couldn't have great designers without hair and make-up on fleek.
